SUSHISAMBA Singapore, a renowned fusion restaurant blending Japanese, Brazilian, and Peruvian flavors, is seeking several experienced and dynamic restaurant cleaner/stewards to join our pre-opening team. Job PurposeThe Steward and Cleaner Attendant is generally responsible for keeping the restaurant premises clean and tidy Principal AccountabilitiesCleans all the restaurant premises and keeps it perfectly dirt free at all timesResponsible for the tidiness and proper keeping of all sectionsSecures the availability of all needed material and supplies required to perform assigned duties properly, on a daily basisWipes floors, cleans all types of furniture, polishes glass and windows, and maintains proper and organized spaces and areasEnsure all equipment is clean and in good working orderTo move, stack, carry, load and unload equipment, food stuff and other articlesGarbage removal from all assigned areas according to company policiesFollow safe work practicesTo have a well-groomed appearance at all times and to have a pleasant smiling attitude towards all guestsTo maintain the highest possible level of personal hygienePerforms other duties pertinent to this job as assigned.Communication & Working RelationshipsMaintains effective communication between all departmentsKnowledge, Skills, and ExperiencePrevious experience in a kitchen or in a service-related industry is preferred but not essentialExcellent physical conditionKnowledge of Food Safety, HACCP, Sanitation, and Personal Hygiene basicsOrganized and disciplined characterAcceptable EnglishPolite and hygiene orientedPhysical Requirements of the jobThe job of the Steward and Cleaner Attendant may require:Physical handling objects up to 25 kilogramsModerate exposure to high temperature, dust, fumes, smoke, and loud noisesStanding for long periods of time and doing repetitive tasksLong working hours, working during holidays, and covering different shifts.
