Company Overview

Lita Ocean was established in the 1970s and has since become one of the leading shipping companies in Singapore providing a diverse range of marine and shipyard services.  Our well-equipped waterfront yard, a fleet of more than 60 various types of vessels and an experienced workforce have served various governmental organizations, port authorities, international oil majors, offshore oil and gas companies, marine engineering and marine service providers.

Lita Ocean manufactures offshore and nearshore crew and cargo transfer vessels tailored to specific client
requirements for various sectors including oil & gas and wind farm industries.  Our vessels are designed and built with safe operations and efficient performance in mind. They have been deployed to operate in Southeast Asia, South Asia and the Middle East.  

Our Timeline :

1982 - Lita Ocean is founded by Mr K H Yeo. Starts operations with Tugs & Barges.

1990 - Floating cranes and bigger barges are added to the fleet as marine services expands to a fleet of 15 vessels.
1997 - Lita Ocean moved into the shipyard at 30 Tuas Basin Link. Builds its first aluminium vessel.

2004 - Secures contract for the repair and maintenance of Singapore Police Coast Guard’s fleet of patrol boats.
2008 - 50 vessels delivered, including two units of 26m crew boats and 5 units of 22m crew boats. Marine services fleet expands to a fleet of 40 vessels. Secures contract to operate vessels for Shell Bukom.
2019 - 150 vessels delivered. Secures contract for the construction and operation of 8 patrol boats for MPA. Operates a fleet of 55 vessels.
2020 - Shipyard relocated to 4 Pioneer Sector 1.
2023 - Delivered a 35m Dual Fuel LNG-Diesel Hydrographic Vessel and Singapore’s first Full-Electric Cargo Vessel.
