Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma holders with experience in related technical field
Strong persuasion and negotiation skills, including conflict resolution skills
Able to work effectively in a professional manner with technology staff, business stakeholders, end users, management and others outside the organisation
Hands-on personality, genuine interest to understand the business drivers
Understanding of programming fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, etc.) will be an added advantage
Experience in IT-project-mgt and in project implementation will be an advantage (preferably with logistics or 3PL experience)
Responsibilities
IT Scope
Manage Software Development project activities for project phases, including initiation, planning, execution, testing, monitoring, control, and closure.
Proper handover of projects to stakeholders after go live.
Manage stakeholder’s expectation by understanding customers’ and business’ needs and providing realistic expectations and scope of the projects.
Establish and implement project plans, resources, budgets, and timeframes, and assign tasks.
Identify, track, and communicate project progress, milestones, deliverables changes and dependencies within the schedule, cost, issues, and risks.
Lead the evaluation- and selection-process of appropriate software or hardware and suggest integration methods.
Develop and maintain information technology plans which outline project status individual tasks, milestones, completion estimate, and resource allocation.
Work collaboratively with IT vendors, business users and customers to determine technical direction and approach to system design and implementing, including both core and supporting systems.
Stakeholder relationship building during project period.
Understand the IT management policy, quality management policy and security guidelines to ensure that the development of processes, procedures and system are designed to comply with these policies and guidelines.
Identify, propose, plan, and implement business process reengineering projects to improve efficiency and effectiveness of our processes.
Manage and be part of an IT-problem solving escalation process to maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware in line with IT-group policies.
Track, maintain and develop hardware and software inventory in line with Bertschi IT guidelines.
Process Scope
Process run through with customers for new onboarding customers and/or for new scope of work for existing customers.
Preparation for process flow drafting and standard operation procedures write up after process run through.
Preparation of questionnaire for project/ process workshop.
Follow up of action items with stakeholders to ensure smooth onboarding before go live.
