Operations Assistant Manager

JOB SUMMARY: The Operations Assistant Manager is in charge of running a successful hair beauty salon. His/her duties include hiring and training employees while managing the day-to-day business activities. He/She communicates with customers and work colleagues excellently, enjoys talking to people. He/She is responsible to direct the teams of salon employees to deliver exceptional customer services.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manages day-to-day outlet operations to ensure salon run smoothly
Assist Manager in providing leadership and direction to all employees
Undertakes activities such as opening and closing procedures, supervising and mentoring staff, as well customer intake procedures
Schedules staff to provide adequate coverage for the salon’s needs
Resolves customer complaints and provides solutions to staff disputes
Accounts / Supervises the management of sales, inventory and customer reports
Maintains a professional and a cheerful attitude
Working closely with the Outlet Manager to lead staff and Supporting Outlet manager as needed.
Completing tasks assigned by the higher management accurately and efficiently
Undertakes any other assigned ad-hoc duties as the business requires

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience as an assistant store/outlet manager or with beauty-related management.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Must be self-motivated and possess the desire for self-development.
Versatile and independent in picking up concepts, and possesses strong logical and analytical problem-solving skills
Able to grasp business requirements and processes
Computer proficient and with working knowledge of service software and systems
Meticulous, good organizational and operations skills
Good communication skills
Enjoys interacting with customers
Strong business acumen with strategic mindset and finance-related skills
